In the summer of 2008 my family and I arrived in Sanford International Airport Orlando at the commencement of our family vacation. I had booked the vacation through a travel agent which included airfare and accommodation .We had no idea of where the accommodation would be, and at the time had not been in Florida before.

After arrival I picked up the rental car and collected a packet which contained the details of the accommodation we would be staying in .The accommodation turned out to be a 4 bedroom villa with a private pool at a place called Lake Wilson Preserve Davenport and was reported to be 10 minutes from Disney. I plugged the details into the Sat Nav and headed out onto the I4..On reaching the I4 we then headed west towards Tampa .About 1 hour later we turned into Lake Wilson neighbourhood at which point my wife remarked “this is very nice”. Lake Wilson turned out to be a picturesque neighbourhood of about 96 homes each of which had a Spanish Terracotta tile roof and blocked paved driveways. As we later found our way around the neighbourhood we discovered we were only 2 miles from the I4 10minutes from Disney, 15 minutes from Sea World, 20 minutes from Universal Studios There was also Publix super market only 3 minutes away. Also there are lots of places to eat out close by.

The villa that we were to stay in had four bedrooms. Two bedrooms had twin beds and one of which had a Disney theme. The other two bedrooms had double beds the master bedroom being en-suite. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. The living area was comfortable and spacious with a TV and DVD player. The villa was also equipped with all the laundry facilities you need. Outside was our own private pool and spa. This we found was perfect for cooling off from the Florida sun. The villa backed onto a hedge and fence so was not over looked by other homes.

We had a great vacation there and loved Lake Wilson Preserve and the villa so much that a few months later I went back out to Florida and bought the villa we had been staying in. “What about that for a recommendation”. We (sadly) only stay in the Villa a few weeks in the year. The rest of the time we rent out the villa for others to enjoy a great vacation in.
